Tires gave out at Sonoma Raceway. Any recommendations for new tires?
Thought I would have 2 - 3 more track days out of these NT01 tires, but the fronts corded due to the camber setting. Driving to and from the track on these tires did the damage but I'm still happy with the longevity. I'll be trying out one of the newer super 200 tires next and will likely be adding aero!

Project Mu Racing 999 Brake Pad Review - AP Racing 9660/9668 - BMW E92 M3

I'm always looking out for good deals on track consumables and came across this brake pad from Project Mu. The pad is named "Racing 999". It's a dedicated race pad and is the most aggressive pad Project Mu makes. I tested it out at Laguna Seca which is really heavy on brakes and it did not disappoint! Costs around $150 shipped to California, USA and fits the AP Racing 9660/9668 caliper which is...

Hi Will. It depends on what you want to do with the tires. I would recommend the following tires - fast to Slower rank. Sort of Vitour P1 - the fastest before used slicks. Nankang CRS V2 or AR-1 RE71RS Toyo RR Maxxis RC1 Supercar3 AO52 and SC3R are fast too but low $/performance. Same pace as P1 or slightly faster. For lapping days. I would stay with V730s. I have done 2 seasons with the AR-1 and I use them for lapping days and TT. I take care of the tires and they last a long time. A lot of data out there that you can use. Also it depends on your driving style too.

Hey man, on these cheap buttons printed on the circuit board the key press gets registered by shorting the 2 halves of the circle. You can check the membrane and it will become more clear. I think by soldering in the middle of the circle you connected the 2 halves permanently which means the M button is always pressed. They probably used 2 circles so that it feels less cheap and the button registers better if it is pressed at an angle. You might be able to solder your wires on the other side of the circle.
